Our client supplies over 1.5 million technical and industrial professionals throughout the world.  Worldwide an order is placed with them every 1.5 seconds, that’s over 57,000 orders every day!  Maintaining their success as a leading, worldwide, business-to-business distributor is an exciting challenge and one in which all their people have a part to play.

The company’s internal eCommerce development team is responsible for the development and support of 70 web sites worldwide. We are now looking for an e-Commerce professional to help maximise sales opportunities with existing and new customers through selected e-commerce channels.

You will work with the Account Owner to drive through additional sales revenue by implementing appropriate e-Commerce services and promoting compliance activity in the sales regions. With an organised approach, you will establish a solid and practical implementation process to support the company’s services. To ensure sales requirements and changes are identified and analysed, you will provide an interface between the e-Commerce division and UK sales channel.

The successful candidate will need demonstrable e-Commerce experience, ideally gained within a sales or commercial environment. With a working knowledge or understanding of the current and emerging e-Commerce market place, you will have a sound commercial awareness coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills. A degree or equivalent in a business discipline would be advantageous but not essential.
