Our client is a leading business to business Publishing and Communications Group. They own key brands in professional publishing and information marketplaces. These consist of a number of leading brands in vertical markets – such as legal, surveying and accountancy – and a number of important products in broader sectors – such as media production, environment, charity and financial.
Due to expansion superb opportunities have now arisen within their North London offices for Individuals keen to pursue a career in sales to join them as Sales Executives.
You will be responsible for selling mainly display advertising and web banners sponsorship across a range of professional directories, magazines and websites dealing with both existing and new clients.
We are interested in seeing individuals with or without sales experience . You do not necessarily have to have a degree although many of the new sales executives are graduates.
Key skills required:-
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with an ability to work under own initiative
• Ambitious to succeed in a media sales environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional approach
• Confident with an ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
Starting salary
• £17.5k basic, 6k OTE commission, (team based, ability to earn additional above target commission)
• Average first year earnings £24,500
• First full salary review 9 months after joining. Can be substantial for employees who have done well.
