£50000 + Technical Sales Manager London
We are looking for an experienced sales executive who has been successful in business development into large engineering based enterprises. The role involves managing the sales of piping systems into sectors such as oil, water, petrochemical nuclear, gas, power ,or similar heavy industries . Our client is a leading international manufacturer and marketer of GRP pipes and systems and is experiencing significant growth.
Your contribution will be to use your technical and engineering experience and background to build solid business relationships and sales into UK based key accounts. Typically these will be oil companies, EPC contractors, petrochemical plants, large engineering firms, local authorities, utilities, and facility managers.
Probably you will be a mechanical engineer by background and have had direct key account sales responsibility for similar technical products.. . Ideally you will be familiar with piping systems and their design, operational and engineering requirements and be able to interact on a professional level with senior managers, engineers and procurement people.
The position is nominally based in London but there will be a large degree of local, and some other, travel. The company is offering an excellent remuneration package to attract key account mangers with the right contacts, experience and industry knowledge.
