£40,000 Basic Salary (negotiable upwards) + Bonuses (approximately £50K total package Year One) plus Benefits
Established five years ago this niche software provider are significantly backed by two major institutions and have won numerous international and local awards for innovation. Offering a unique solution to an everyday problem faced by supply chain organizations the software enables communication to flow seamlessly between incompatible systems and language barriers.
Having won the world's largest three supply chain businesses as major clients the company has excellent reference points and case studies that have proven to save clients multiple millions in costs.
The role is to provide technical pre-sales and support to the business development team helping to forge strong business partnerships and supporting the sales team to win significant projects.
This is a highly technical role that requires you to have a strong background in consulting and specialist knowledge of Supply Chain Management and/or SAP. Technical knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI), XML, cXML, EDIFACT, Xcbl, electronic data management or similar technologies would be of enormous benefit.
Ideally a graduate in a business or technical discipline you will have proven experience of helping support a sales team win major software projects and have built relationships at board level. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a passion for customer service and providing quality solutions.
The role is based from open planned headquarter premises in Oxford though will involve face-to-face meetings with clients, typically once a week. As the role progresses it will involve working from home and could progress into a people-manaegment role leading a team of pre-sales consultants.
The role reports directly into a founding director of the organisation who is a well published and renowned leader within the logistics and supply chain sector.
