Our client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of vacuum technology solutions. Offering the simplest components and fittings to vacuum chambers and computer-controlled deposition systems, they are reputable for delivering all their customer’s vacuum science needs. An opportunity has now arisen for a Systems Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative to join their team and help them build on their success in Europe.

This is the ideal role for a talented Sales professional to join a dynamic team. This position offers good working conditions, a position in a growing market where the client company already holds a significant share, and for the right person - ample scope to progress within the company.

As a Systems Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling our client’s Thin Film Deposition Systems to Government, University and Industrial Laboratories. Leads are generated from their 1000 page catalogue, website and Marketing which includes attendance of key conference exhibitions. You will be required to follow up leads and attend client meetings. UK and European travel will be required.

To succeed in this position you must have proven sales experience and a degree (or equivalent), ideally in a scientific subject. You will also need to demonstrate a proven track record of working to and beating targets, along with first class communication skills and a highly motivated and well organised approach.

Fluency in another European language would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of thermal evaporation and sputtering techniques – but these are not essential.
