A rare opportunity has now arisen for a Software Solutions Sales Executive / New Business Sales Executive to join their team.
This is the ideal role for an experienced IT Sales professional to join a fast growing technology company and sell high value, bespoke software development services. Not only does this role offer the chance to join a vibrant team, but as the company is growing there is the opportunity to significantly increase your OTE in future years.
As a Software Solutions Sales Executive / New Business Sales Executive you will be responsible for consultatively selling our client’s software development services. In this predominately new business focused role, you will be required to sell on value and quality, rather than price.
Your key duties will include:
- generating leads, and following up leads generated by online advertising and 3rd party lead generation
- attending sales meetings to pitch the company’s values and benefits
- liaising with the inhouse technical pre-sales team who will produce technical proposals
- closing the sale
- taking responsibility for the entire sales process from start to finish
To succeed as the Software Solutions Sales Executive / New Business Sales Executive you MUST have significant previous IT sales experience, selling high value IT products and services. Experience of selling software development services in particular would be a distinct advantage to your application, though applications from candidates with experience selling other IT services or software products to a B2B market are welcome.
Additionally, for this role you will need to demonstrate your proven ability to ‘sell on value, not on price’, and your excellent communication skills. Your enthusiasm, organised approach and good academic background are also vital.
