Software Sales Account Manager – IT Sales
Loughborough, Leicestershire
£30,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus Pension, Car Allowance, Mobile Phone, Laptop
Our client is a leading supplier of complete Business Solutions to the Clothing and Footwear industries. Their emphasis on providing excellent solutions and working in partnership with their customers has provided a strong foundation for their growth and success. Due to continued expansion they are now looking to recruit a Software Sales Account Manager.
Applying your talent for account management and business development, in this role you will be responsible for selling the company's software and services, and managing customer satisfaction. This position would suit an aspiring Account Manager, or someone who already has some experience in a similar role.
Working with a dedicated team, as the Software Sales Account Manager you will be expected to manage a number of existing clients with specific responsibilities that include:
- Commercial management of accounts
- Planning and resourcing
- Managing the standard of deliverables and customer satisfaction
- Conducting customer facing review meetings
- Managing the handover of new accounts that from the project team post implementation
- Presenting the company's applications and selling additional products and services
To succeed as the Software Sales Account Manager you must have previous experience of software sales, ideally within an account manager role. You will also need to demonstrate excellent customer facing skills, and strong analytical skills for considering solutions and problem solving.
Your desire to fulfil this account management role will need to be matched by good planning and organisation skills, as well as an appreciation of the importance of managing the commercial boundaries of the account.
Although not essential, ideally you will also have experience of supplying solutions in the supply chain environment with a detailed knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas:
- ERP
- Warehouse Management
- Retail Head Office and Epos
- Financials
- Business and Management Reporting or Forecasting
The role will require you to travel to customers across the UK and you will need a flexible approach to working hours. It is essential that you have a full UK Driving Licence.
