Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager – Software / Network Solutions
Warwick (M40 corridor – Oxford to Birmingham)
c£35,000 DOE (Basic) OTE c£75,000 Plus Car Allowance (£500 per month)
Offering a range of network and server management solutions to corporate businesses, our client is an expert in systems management with an enviable reputation. With a £4M turnover, they are expanding and currently looking for a Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to develop existing customer relationships and solicit new customers.
For this role our client is looking for a sales professional with a technical background in IT, software solutions or networks. Not only does this role offer great prospects, significant bonuses and equity potential, but for the right person, there is ample scope for career development. For this field based position our client invites applications from experienced candidates based along the M40 corridor.
As a senior member of their successful sales team, in this role you will be tasked with working with the existing customer base to find and close sales for larger solutions and new service solutions that the company is launching. This role will involve selling to the following target sectors: Finance, Retail, Government, Manufacturing and Utilities.
While there is technical support provided, you will be expected to understand the logical working of the products and services in order to fully qualify the requirements and identify the value proposition. Full support from the internal sales team with administration, appointments and follow ups will be provided.
To succeed as a Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you will have solid sales experience and a good technical background with experience in IT, software and networking. You will also need to be motivated and enthusiastic with an ability to learn and sell new technology.
As a Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager your duties will include:
- seeking new business opportunities from both new and existing customers
- contributing to the marketing, presentation and other communications with customers/prospects
- contributing to the development of the team and business, helping to coach and mentor other sales people
