Our client is a London based company that is renowned for developing bespoke software solutions for a small number of valued clients. Offering high quality software consultancy, software products and bespoke software development services, they employ the best staff in the industry. A rare opportunity has now arisen for a Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join their team.

This is the ideal role for an experienced IT Sales professional to join a fast growing technology company and sell high value, bespoke software development services. Not only does this role offer the chance to join a vibrant team, but as the company is growing so significantly, there is the opportunity to significantly increase your OTE in the future years.

As a Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you will be responsible for consultatively selling our client’s software development services. In this predominately new business focused role, you will be required to sell on value and availability, rather than price.

Your key duties will include:

- generating leads, and following up leads generated by online advertising and the 3rd party lead generation company
- attending sales meetings to pitch the company, their values and the benefits
- liaising with the inhouse technical pre-sales team who will produce technical proposals
- closing the sale
- taking responsibility for the entire sales process from start to finish

To succeed as the Senior IT Sales Executive / Business Development Manager you must have previous IT sales experience. Experience selling software development services would be a distinct advantage to your application, though applications from candidates with experience selling other high value IT services or software products will be considered.

Additionally, for this role you will need to demonstrate your proven ability to ‘sell on value, not on price’, and your excellent communication skills. Your enthusiasm, organised approach and good academic background are also vital.
