Sales and Marketing Manager roles available within a military specialist communications division of a large global defence prime manufacturer.
The roles are senior in nature and the Sales and Marketing Manager will be required to identify new business opportunities and to maintain customer relations after a contract has been awarded. The role will be reporting to the head of Business Development and Sales, Military Specialist Communications. The objectives of the Sales and Marketing Managers will be to achieve orders in accordance with the Military Specialist Communications order intake budget, to develop market opportunities consistent with the groups long term objectives and to be the internal lead for customer focus through all stages of project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be selling a range of specialist communication systems which consist of military radios, embedded communication systems, electronic warfare systems, specialist high security Crypto solutions and a range of antennas and ancillaries.
The successful candidates will have experience selling into military end users and other defence primes such as Defence Equipment Communications Specialists, Specialist SAT COM Manufacturers and various 2nd Tier customers.
The role will be covering a UK and International sales territory. The Sales and Marketing Manager must be capable of working with a wide range of staff, external agencies and customers at all levels, they will be both technical and commercial and be of the highest calibre and will be well versed in the military sales process and have significant business wins.
