Our client is a leading specialist in all aspects of metal and plastics cleaning. With customers across Europe, their premier brand cleaning solvent is used by the aerospace, medical, electronics and precision engineering industries. A unique opportunity has now arisen for a talented Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team and play a key role.

As a Sales and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for lifting the profile of our client’s precision cleaning solvent. You will need to be a self starter who is capable of taking ownership of the brand and its products, some of which are at the embryonic stage, and developing both awareness and sales in technical markets throughout Europe. This position is home based and our client is keen to hear from experienced applicants based preferably in London, Essex or the Home Counties.

Your position will involve extensive travel throughout Europe in order to liaise with key accounts, motivating the company’s superb distributor network, and promoting our client’s brand and products using advertising and promotion utilising press releases in trade journals and on the Internet.

To succeed as the Sales and Marketing Manager you will need to demonstrate a strong sales and marketing background with knowledge of B2B or B2C marketing techniques. You must also understand online marketing and ideally have experience of designing and maintaining websites for an integrated sales and marketing programme.

Although previous experience within a similar industry isn’t essential, you will have to demonstrate strong sales experience and the ability to absorb technical and regulatory information in order to communicate with customers and the distributor network.
