Our client is a recognised leader in providing adhesive solutions for the international manufacturing marketplace. They are now looking to recruit a proactive Internal Sales Support / Technical Advisor to join their team in Colden Common, which is between Winchester and Southampton.
This is the ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate with great customer service skills and a technical aptitude to join a fantastic team. As an Internal Sales Support / Technical Advisor you’ll be the ‘go-between’, linking customer requirements and the company’s sales force.
In this role you’ll be responsible for following up and managing leads generated by the marketing department in order to promote our client’s products. With your ability to build rapport over the phone, you will explain the technical benefits of our client’s glue to companies – and if they’re interested, arrange an appointment for the Field Sales team to attend. This isn’t a hard selling role as clients will have already registered an interest from exhibitions, website enquiries or mail shots.
To succeed in this role you must have a good technical aptitude that will allow you to understand the company’s products and explain their features to customers over the phone. Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role would be highly beneficial to your application. You will also be proficient in MS Office or similar.
As the Internal Sales Support / Technical Advisor you must have a proactive and professional approach, an excellent telephone manner and good writing skills.
