THE ROLE:

Sales Manager roles available within a Professional specialist communications division of a large global manufacturer with technology based background spanning across centuries.
The sales manager roles are senior in nature and will require the successful candidates to identify new business opportunities and to maintain customer relations after a contract has been awarded. The role will be reporting to the head of Business Development and Sales of Professional Specialist Communications. The objectives of the Sales Managers will be to achieve orders in accordance with the Specialist Communications order intake budget, to develop market opportunities consistent with the groups long term objectives and to be the internal lead for customer focus through all stages of project lifecycle. The successful candidate will be selling a range of private mobile radios which consist of radios networks and infrastructure, embedded communication systems, which work of tetra based networks and include hardware and infrastructure solutions. Selling into various professional market sectors such as Oil and gas, off shore, rail, Utilities, blue light sector, direct and via channel, systems integrators and resellers. The successful candidates will have experience selling into rail, oil and gas, commercial business, airports, customs and working with systems integrators and distributors. The role will be covering a UK sales territory. The Sales Manager must be capable of working with a wide range of staff, external agencies and customers at all levels, they will be both technical and commercial and be of the highest caliber and will be well versed in the project sales processes and have significant business wins. THE CANDIDATE:

Experience in communications infrastructure
Sold radio systems (two way)
Strong technical background Ideally electronics
Used to long term project based sales with multifaceted and multilayered strategic involvement
Will have dealt with large scale negotiations. with multifaceted and multilayered

THE PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: £50k to £65k
Commission: £20k to £30k
Benefits: Car, Pension and Healthcare
