THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Managing Director of a key strategic leading business, this excellent opportunity encompasses developing business opportunities within the specialist surveillance arena for their defence division. The role will consist of developing strategic business with key major defence prime contractors, your role will take you from market analysis and relationship selling through to securing long-term commercial contracts that capitalise on core technology offerings working on long term programs and establishing credibility within key primes making sure that the business delivers on time within the supply chain and is successful within major bids, networking within clients, working on key projects and assisting on adding value to the project selling both technically and commercially on how technology can be used and integrated with the view to become sub-contractor of choice.
THE COMPANY:
This international, £multi million turnover business provides innovative cutting edge customized technology for the surveillance market operating in a number of key divisions that specialize within vertical market sectors. Due to increased commitment and continued expansion an excellent opportunity has arisen on the team for an experienced Sales Manager within the Defence technology division. The division specialises in the development, design and manufacturer of radio communication monitoring and surveillance systems used primarily within MOD, military, defence and government clients.
THE CANDIDATE:
•Strong proven ability to develop long term sustainable business within the Defence sector.
•Ideally experienced in or knowledge of surveillance market.
•Exceptional communication skills and diplomatic negotiator with the ability to develop excellent relationships.
•Demonstrable track record of success within strategic sales development and key account management.
•Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to persuade and influence at all levels.

THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Commission: Competitive Commission Structure
