Sales Manager, E-Learning and Training Consultancy, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire
£50,000 Basic (negotiable), £100K-£120K OTE + Extensive benefits package
One of the Times fastest growing companies in the UK is a leading provider of training and web based learning solutions to major corporates and government departments. Having experienced exponential growth throughout 2007 they now operate across the US, Canada and Europe and work with the majority of the FTSE 100 and public sector divisions.
This strategic business development and senior account management role is closing qualified leads through lengthy and involved bids and tender processes. As accounts are all in excess of £150K annual spend the sales process is typically protracted and involves multiple board level sign off. As such you must be a consummate corporate level business developer, with an eye for detail and significant relationship building skills. You will work a yet to be defined vertical sector (as the company will restructure the sales team upon your appointment) and the role is UK wide. As the majority of accounts having their head offices in London and the South East the company are ideally looking for individuals based from North London to Leicester along the M1, A1, M11 or M40 Corridors.
To succeed in this role you will have at least 3 years proven track record in selling web based training and learning solutions and/or HR or Training consultancy. In addition, you will have strong organisation and planning skills and be an excellent corporate presenter.
You will be of graduate calibre, personable, credible and possess strong negotiation skills. You will be used to winning complex proposal led business and be an ambitious team player that is highly success oriented, well presented and the kind of sales professional that learns from accounts that they didn’t win to succeed in the future.
