The Sales Recruitment Network is looking for a UK based Sales Manager to develop sales for an exiting range of both formal and casual shirts, selling in to the Mid / Higher end of the UK retail clothing market. Extensive overseas travel will be needed on occasions to help product development and trend discussions etc. Salary up to £40K, (up to 25% bonus), Car allowance, pension and healthcare.

Brief job description:

Our client is a large Manufacturer of clothing garments supplying the Mid / Higher end of the UK High street with a range of formal and casual shirts. The Sales Manager is a newly created position and will involve the account management for existing customers but a greater emphasis on this role is generating new sales.

Ideally you will have solid product knowledge of shirts and blouses and have a proven track record for selling into higher-class retailers. You will manage the critical path, have an awareness of seasonal trends, new developments, competition and competitive markets.

You will have full visibility of the P & L for your business area.

Some time spent overseas will be necessary from time to time to help develop products and to discuss current trends in the market place. The Head Office is based in Nottinghamshire and you will need to be in the office perhaps 2/3 days on average.
