Our client is renowned for organising two annual global events that promote education and training for the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry. As an independent events organiser, they pride themselves on being different and work with people from oil and gas companies, governments and universities. They are now looking to recruit ambitious Sales Executives / Business Development Executives to join their team.

If you enjoy talking to people and using your ability to think on your feet to sell a unique concept – this is the perfect sales opportunity to develop your talents.

As a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive you will be responsible for selling either to upstream, downstream or sponsor channels. Your role will involve researching new clients and selling to a selection of oil and gas companies, refining and petrochemical companies, potential sponsors, universities and education and training providers. Some international travel to client sites will be required, as will attendance at events.

To succeed in this position you must have sales experience, ideally B2B sales. You will also need to be to a self starter with fantastic communication skills.

Additionally, as a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive you should have the ability to research new business opportunities through industry and web based media, and a strong customer focus.
