Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive – Oil Condition Sensors

£28,000 - £35,000 DOE Plus Benefits
Operating throughout the UK, our client is reputable for developing a range of leading edge products and services that enable an organisation to identify and monitor the performance of critical plant assets. An opportunity has now arisen for an experienced, motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive to join their newly founded business.
This is a fantastic time to join our client. In this role you will be selling their revolutionary new oil condition sensor which has been globally patented. With oil prices rising and environmental repercussions of managing your oil - this is a unique opportunity to sell a product that is in much demand. The company is also in its start-up phase which means it’s an exciting time to join the team.
As a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive you will be responsible for driving sales of this innovative product by targeting major OEM’s in order to develop UK, European and global markets. For the right person, within a couple of years you will have the chance to develop and manage a Sales team.
To succeed in this position you must have an electrical or engineering background, and previous sales experience. Any experience of selling sensors or lubrication products would be beneficial to your application, but is by no means essential.
Additionally, you will need a practical, hands-on approach, a high degree of initiative, and a good level of computer literacy. You will also need to be highly organised and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels. As the Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive you should also be capable of setting targets and budgets, and possess a demonstrated ability to achieve results.
This position will require UK and European travel, with an additional requirement for some international travel initially. The successful applicant will have a full clean driving licence.
