Our client specialises in producing exciting and innovative promotional merchandise tailored to achieving their client’s marketing goals. They strive to be the most innovative and efficient supplier in the sales promotion industry, and to provide excellent customer service at all times. An opportunity has arisen for a Sales Account Manager to join their team.

For this position our client is seeking an ambitious Sales Account Manager who can both take responsibility for the management of a portfolio of existing key blue chip clients, and develop new clients and opportunities. This is a client facing role that will involve some travel. For the right person, there is ample scope for career progression as the company grows.

As a Sales Account Manager you will be expected to develop a wide understanding of the client, their marketplace, and the dynamics involved. You should be able to identify new product opportunities, technical solutions and working methods that will give our client a competitive edge; and you should work to a strategy that maintains a high standard of service to the client.

To succeed in this position you will be an experienced Account Manager with a background in the sales promotion industry (in either a sourcing or agency capacity). Our client also welcomes applications from experienced National Account Managers with an FMCG background.

Sales promotion is a fast-moving industry - therefore you should be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent administrative skills. You should also be highly organised, methodical, and able to multi-task successfully. A good level of IT literacy, in particular strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, is also vital.
