Major manufacturer of racking, shelving and materials handling equipment seek a Sales Account Manager to manage their client portfolio from the Milton Keynes down to Watford and across to Oxford. With technical/industrial sales experience you will be looking for a career role where you will actively want to hone your sales and project management skills.
The role is a project based solution sale with project values often in excess of £100K. The vast and varied account base includes major logistics companies, warehouses, manufacturers and retailers.
With experience of technical sales you will have experience of planning a sales strategy, managing a geographic patch and winning high value project led business. You will be intelligent and articulate, or ‘graduate calibre’ and have the ability to forge strong business relationships at all levels.
With excellent marketing support and innovative products this manufacturer has a solid reputation and wins business on both unique features and keen pricing.
To succeed you will enjoy technical/industrial sales and have a proven track record of developing string business partnerships. You will be credible with an ability to build relationships at all levels from counter level sales staff to procurement directors and proprietors. The role also involves corporate entertaining and representing the company at exhibitions.
The company would also consider applications from an internal technical sales professional looking for their first break into field sales.
