Our client operates in one of the fastest growing industries in the contemporary marketplace, Intellectual Property. In the last six years they have been responsible for leading the global market innovation in cutting edge product/outsourced service offerings. An opportunity has now arisen for a Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Account Manager.
Reporting to the VP Sales, in this role you will be responsible for selling our client’s core Intellectual Property services including Patent & Trademark renewals, Data verification, Trademark searching, Title updates and IP Outsourcing.
As the Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Account Manager you will also take responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and development of both new and existing accounts and will be at the forefront of any new product innovation. Regional responsibility will be allocated according to skill set and experience with the target market and existing network that comprises of large corporate, agent and legal clients each with subtly different solutions needs and service expectations.
To succeed in this position you will have a proven track record of selling complex b2b business solutions preferably in financial systems, ERP, database/information/content management or similar with exposure to a consultative methodology. Previous knowledge of intellectual property would be advantageous.
Educated to at least degree standard (or equivalent), you will be an ambitious performance-driven sales professional who is pragmatic, innovative and comfortable operating and travelling in an international environment.
Additionally, as the Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Account Manager you must possess the communications skills, intellect and attitude necessary to succeed in this highly challenging and ever growing professional services marketplace.
Fluency in at least one other European language would be a distinct advantage to your application. This role is based at their London office and will involve European travel.
