Regional Sales Manager, London – B2B
Great opportunity for an experienced and motivated sales professional to make their mark with an industry leading parking company. Responsible for developing new business and closing sales in the fertile territory of London, you will be promoting the company’s season ticket products to business customers.
Supported by a powerful brand and armed with a product your customers really need, there will be plenty of opportunity to exercise your business development and sales skills in the target rich environment which constitutes your territory! Covering a region extending from the West End through Central London and into South West London, you will identify and generate new business opportunities and convert these into new accounts. The revenue generated by these new accounts, together with the number of accounts opened and their margin performance will be key measures of your success.
Possessing excellent communication skills, you will be expected to have face to face meetings with customers and prospects and use these meetings to understand their needs and present them with the appropriate solutions. Your networking ability will assist in obtaining new leads and your excellent negotiating skills will be crucial in converting these to profit-enhancing sales. You will also work with the company’s commercial and business managers - with whom you will be expected quickly to develop strong working relationships - to protect and develop the current client portfolio and to fully realise the potential of every parking site. As a team, you will develop local strategic plans to introduce marketing and networking initiatives with the nearby business communities.
As well as being a consummate sales professional, you will need to be highly organised with a real work ethic. You will be responsible for managing the account take-on process via a web application and you will be expected to monitor client payment records and to support the company’s credit control operations as necessary. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and up to date management information. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy in this position, but with the support of a major organisation behind you.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate or of graduate calibre with a full UK driving licence. At least 18 months of sales or business development experience is needed with a track record of closing sales in a B2B environment. Initiative and innovative thinking will mark out this person who will be expected to identify and exploit wider business opportunities as they arise. It should go without saying that excellent communication and presentation skills (at times you will be presenting to customers at board level) are needed. In return you will receive a package including a fully expensed car or car allowance and OTE in excess of £50,000.
