Our client is the UK’s leading installer of home insulation services. Delivering more than 100,000 installations a year, their customers include local authorities, house builders and utility companies. A unique opportunity has now arisen for a Regional Commercial Director to play a key role.
This is the ideal position for a high calibre Sales professional to bring their talents to a UK leader. Not only does this role offer the chance to help shape the company’s direction, but for the right person there is ample scope to develop your career.
In this senior position, as the Regional Commercial Director you will be responsible for growing sales opportunities and developing new business through establishing relationships in order to maintain our client’s leading position in the provision of energy efficiency products and schemes.
Your duties will include:
- line managing and developing a team of Regional Business Development Managers
- developing, communicating and supporting the delivery of all regional sales
- with the Marketing teams, developing professional marketing material
- managing and ensuring the submission of tenders across the division
- with the Regional MD, developing new sales and marketing strategies and techniques leading them into diversification into other markets
- developing strategies to deliver the existing product portfolio
To succeed as the Regional Commercial Director you must have proven senior sales experience and a background in successfully managing a National Sales or Business Development team. For this role our client is keen to hear from experienced Sales Directors or Sales Managers with the desire and ability to move into a more senior appointment.
Additionally, you should have an innovative approach to sales opportunities, a good level of computer literacy, and exceptional negotiation skills. Experience of working with housing providers or house builders would be a distinct advantage to your application, as would knowledge of utility companies.
