Our client is a fast-growing independent company specialising in behavioural merchandising and advertising for e-commerce players. Their mission is to push the right content to the right user at the right time, and the business’ clients include Kelkoo, Yahoo! and eBay. With a well-established presence in France, the group has now launched in the UK and seeks to recruit a New Media / eCommerce Business Development Manager to join their team in Central London.

The New Media / eCommerce Business Development Manager will drive sales, primarily through unearthing and developing new business, both over the phone and face-to-face. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle process, including client implementation, management of the sales pipeline and building up your own account portfolio.

The successful candidate for the role of New Media / eCommerce Business Development Manager will have a love of online advertising and eCommerce, and enjoy interacting with people to solve complex problems. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the exciting online eCommerce media industry and the business world at a rapidly growing internet company.

To succeed within the role, you’ll need previous new business sales experience, gained from within an online/eCommerce-related environment, and will be fearless when it comes to picking up the phone and selling to new clients. You will be selling across more than one product and working to tight deadlines, so you will need to be organised with good attention to detail as well as quick thinking. The ideal candidate will also display a degree-level education, along with excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
