Our client offers cars, vans, trucks, plant, equipment and motorcycles through its national network of 19 physical auction centres, as well as the latest online sales channels and a comprehensive range of products and services.
This role focuses upon the development of their Commercial Vehicle auction business within the van, truck and plant/equipment sectors across the UK, focusing on the Southern region. You will manage an existing established portfolio of vendor clients and identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve growth in annual portfolio incomes.
You will be expected to deliver growth of income and units sold within our clients’ 7 Commercial Vehicle auction centres with continual focus on targets and budgets while maintaining and developing the portfolio to maximise revenue opportunities. You will work with vendor clients to define, design and deliver SLAs and KPIs while attending client review meetings as required to monitor performance and analyse and update rate structures.
You must work in conjunction with 7 auction centre CV departments, the National Commercial Vehicle team and other sales and operations teams to share feedback and action vendor issues pro-actively as well as re-actively, fully utilising our client’s CRM system to maximise sales opportunities and to manage personal targets and goals.
This is a field based role where you will be supported by their industry leading, experienced and dedicated Commercial Vehicle team. The Southern region does cover the area from the Midlands to the South, candidates anywhere in this region will be considered. Without doubt, and above all else, this role will suit a self motivated individual with a proven sales pipeline track record gained within vibrant sales environments. Although previous experience of the van, truck or plant/equipment industry would be desirable, it is not essential although knowledge of remarketing would be advantageous. |
