National Account Executive based near Reading for leading FMCG food and drinks company. You will need strong negotiating skills, product supply knowledge and ideally a background in FMCG grocery. Reading based to £37k basic plus car, bonus and benefits.
National Account Executive
JOB PURPOSE
Support CBM in delivering Plan within agreed budget
Be the key contact for the customer (CNS buyer) on the daily trading agenda
POSITION IN ORGANISATION
Reports to CBM
Works along side AE’s, Product Supply, Insights, Shopper Marketing and other BU members
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage Atlas for promotional and NPD forecasts in line with targets and budgets
Work with Net Revenue team ensuring changes to promotional plan works for both customer/PIUK
Support creation and execution of an exciting bespoke shopper marketing plan
Own negotiations on promotions and NPD execution with main buying contact
Play a significant role in motivating and supporting the field team. Provide communication, clear priorities and tools BU to maximise growth and execution
Coach and develop best practise with Grocery Trading/Account Executives in other BU’s
Manager supply chain contacts internally / externally to ensure NPD and promoted volume maximised
Maintain account price files to reduce invoice mismatches and assist credit control team in unpaid recovery
EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED
Strong customer focus
Good communication skills
Experience in handling customer issues with senior external contacts (GSM, AM, GM, Head Office)
Grocery knowledge preferred but not essential
Knowledge of wider business / Product Supply needed for Low Code role
Ability to drive action from people more senior than her (CBM / NAM)
Strong drive to enable great results

JOB DIMENSIONS
Financial
The role will support the CBM in delivering total gross revenue of £83mm with a £16m sale P budget.
Key responsibility will be to own IFT/Atlas with emphasis on updating promotional plans.
Management of TRDU allocations and any exclusive lines is essential to maximise execution and reduce low code risk.
Non-Financial
No line management responsibility but role requires high amount of interaction with and internal support teams.
