Membership Sales Executive - Eire - Co Donegal

Synopsis:  A sales person responsible for selling fitness club memberships to companies, individuals and families.  Some leads will be provided but you must be able to generate business by cold calling from targeted lists provided by the company. You will need to qualify these lists and make appointments for meetings at the fitness club where you will give potential clients a full tour and demonstration of what is available. The role is office based in a luxury environment.  You will have free use of the fitness club.  No sales experience is necessary if you have the right attitude and personality. C £15k – 30k year 1.

Salary :c £15,200 plus bonus to start then c £18,000k basic after completion of training and a period of hitting target plus bonus. ote year 1 £28k-£30k plus uncapped year 2 £37-£38k plus uncapped.

The Company:

Our client is an established company providing fitness clubs with sales people across the UK. They provide professional individuals who have potential for fast career progression and earnings to health and fitness clubs. They employ the sales persons, but effectively hire out their teams to the clubs to sell club membership for them.  These are long term careers and you will be based at a club geographical close to you. Opportunities for relocation are available for those who want to move around the country developing their long term careers.

Brief job description: 


You will be responsible for selling fitness club memberships to companies, individuals and families.  Some leads will be provided but you must be able to generate business by cold calling from targeted lists provided by the company. You will need to qualify these lists and make appointments for meetings at the fitness club where you will give potential clients a full tour and demonstration of what is available. The role is office based in a luxury environment.  You will have free use of the fitness club.  This is a core sales role with anything from 3-4 hours telephone work per day sourcing and following up leads. Sales are made at the club by arranging appointments to visit you as the 'membership consultant' and then you would conduct a needs analysis of the exercise history, personal goals etc using a mixture of sales and life coaching questions. All designed to create an urgency to aid the prospective member take action in their lives and join our clubs.

Skills:

 

The role is an internal sales  / telesales role in the first instance but of course your goal will be to get these individuals to come into the fitness club where you meet them face to face and sell the membership through a tour and demonstration.  You will need a good attitude, an outgoing enthusiastic personality, to be reliable and flexible.  Sales experience preferably in a consultative relationship sales environment would be beneficial but is not essential if you have a keen attitude and are willing to learn.  Our client is a fitness club, and is looking for applicants who appreciate the advantages of, and subscribe to, a healthy life style.  We are looking for a sales guru and someone who wants to continually develop themselves with a thirst for seeking new knowledge.

 

 

Training

The company has an excellent training programme for individuals covering both product knowledge, development and refinement of your relationship sales skills.  You will have a 6 month home study development programme to pass your diploma and the company will also provide ongoing sales training both classroom and in the workplace.  The company will invest in a first class training programme for you to give you all the tools to be a really successful sales person.

 

Package

Basic Salary is £15,200 to start progressing to £18,000 within 6 - 12 months based on successful confirmation of learning, training and basic targets being met. Those with aptitude and consistency aim to achieve £18,000 basic within 1 year.

The major earnings are not from the basic salary, but on commissions for each membership sales made. This will range from a further £300 - £1,400 per month on top of basic. Targets are realistic and progress ional.
