Managed Services Consultant -1st/2nd line Support – Entry Level
Salary Ł 18,000 – 22,000 (depending on experience) Plus excellent benefits.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to build on their existing skill set and develop their career within a busy team environment in a leading IT consultancy firm in the North East of England.
Desired Certifications
•MCP or MCSA
•VMware VCP
Brief Role Description
•Reporting to the service desk leader.
•Provide 1st and 2nd line support to clients with a range of different technologies predominantly Microsoft.
Experience , Skills and Competencies required
•Good knowledge of windows XP Pro/ Vista, Office Suite 2003/2007, Network LAN TCP/IP
•Qualified to degree level or similar
•Some IT support experience within a professional environment
•An analytic thought process
•Ability to quickly grasp new skills and information
•Confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
This is an entry level role into the business. It is expected that you would undertake the duties on the helpdesk for approximately 6 months to build up your skills and understanding. The role would then progress onto working on projects and at client sites. From then on there are limitless possibilities to progress within any of the functions at Waterstons, within infrastructure, development or project management.
You will be joining a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and will be working with the latest technologies (including pre-release technologies). You can expect a fun and friendly environment where committed and talented professionals flourish and progress quickly.
