Field Based – Covering the South West & Export
Our client manufactures cloth, PVC, foil, double sided and polyethylene tapes in the UK at two sites in Leicester. Technical expertise and the continuous development of new products have helped them to supply adhesive tapes conforming to the highly demanding specifications required by many specialist industries.
As the Key Account Manager you will develop relationships with distributors, enabling you to identify and maximise opportunities. With responsibility for our client’s customers in both export and the UK, you will need to be highly organised and able to divide your time between distributors and end-user business. Promoting our client to customers, you will use your negotiation skills when recognising selling opportunities. With experience in the transport market, particularly automotive you will have gained the necessary skills needed to prove successful.
Your prowess in sales will hold you in good stead in this challenging role and you will be able to demonstrate quickly your ability to sell both face-to-face and over the telephone to customers at all levels. This fast-paced position will need you to maximise your selling ability to seek out the key decision makers and successfully close the sale. With excellent presentation skills you will be expected to negotiate at Head Office level.
Due to the nature of the role, they are looking for a confident individual with experience in selling to the automotive sector and in selling through distributors. You will be able to work of your own initiative and be fully competent in reporting back any recommendations that will help improve the business. Experience in developing new products would also be an advantage. |
