WCBS is the leading supplier of school management systems to the UK’s fee-paying school sector. There is an increasing level of demand from similar schools around the world. The company has made an initial impact in this international school market and now wants to increase the sales force to develop the overseas business further.

A superb opportunity has arisen for a sales executive to join our company. You will be home based but expected to travel to the office in Glastonbury on a regular basis. You will be working on established accounts as well as seeking out and wining new business.

The key aspect of the role is the demonstration and sale of the PASS School Management System to International Schools. This will start with leads/contacts generated by the company’s marketing efforts. To be considered for this role it is likely that applicants will be able to meet the following key requirements:

• Have a proven ability to demonstrate/present application software to users/operators and senior managers
• Possess a successful sales or account management background
• Demonstrate good personal organisation skills
• Confirm a definite willingness to travel extensively within the UK and overseas – potentially up to 16 weeks per year outside the UK.
• Have a high level of self-motivation and desire to grow sales in the territory
• Show the ability to understand requirements of a close-knit specialist/niche market and the need for a long-term, highly ethical approach within such a market
