Internal Sales Executive / Telesales Executive – Hardware / Software

£18,000 Basic (OTE £28,000) plus Pension
Our client is a leading provider of IT application and infrastructure solutions for organisations ranging from SMEs to major PLCs, national and international organisations. Boasting an experienced team of highly-qualified professionals with wide-ranging knowledge and experience in the provision of information-based solutions, they currently seek to recruit an Internal Sales Executive / Telesales Executive.
Joining an established and successful sales team, the Internal Sales Executive / Telesales Executive will sell a full range of hardware and software solutions primarily based around application, desktop and server virtualisation technologies, from key vendors such as Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft, Dell and HP. Training on these products will be provided.
An experienced, enthusiastic and versatile individual, the successful applicant will have gained previous experience working in a target-driven telesales or telemarketing environment. The Internal Sales Executive / Telesales Executive will also require the following key skills and attributes:
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Experience of identifying new business opportunities
- Experience of meeting booking, and proposal writing
- A proven track record in sales and revenue generation, working to strict targets and KPIs
- Experience in using and maintaining Customer Relationship Management systems
- Strong understanding of Windows based operating systems and networking
In addition you will hold excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to think laterally. You would also benefit from holding a degree-level qualification and understanding of any of the following:
- Server Virtualisation
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- ‘Thin Client' architecture
- Storage Area Networks
- Hosted IT services
