Purpose of Job
To uncover new business opportunities within New Trading and Unallocated Accounts in the region and work with the Midlands team manager or senior staff to ensure the opportunities are followed through to successful close.
 
Responsibilities
Winning new business and developing existing accounts across a portfolio of Software Licensing, Product fulfilment, Learning solutions, HCI and Service oriented propositions.
 
Department Goals
To achieve GP targets for the sales team overall and provide a high level of service and support to our customer base. To increase company representation in the territory.
 
 
Skills Required
·       Minimum 2 yrs corporate IT Sales experience
·       Knowledge of software licensing for multiple vendors essential
·       Proven track record in sales success (we may require evidence of this through pay slips)
·       Direct experience of sales wins within the portfolio described in responsibilities
·       Strong New Business skills and excellent communications
·       Credibility and gravitas to operate comfortably with board level customer contacts
·       Major Account experience with clients of up to 5000 users
·       Ability to develop existing accounts and manage expectations
·       Experience of writing quality proposals and responses to ITT’s
·       A strong level of commercial awareness

·       Self motivated with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Training Given
A full induction programme to all new starters to help integrate them into the company and provide awareness of the full level of support available. This includes training in all propositions, regular vendor training, internal systems and telephone training plus the opportunity to attend external courses.
