Our client is a vibrant, professional and highly knowledgeable IT Hardware, Software and Services Company. As a value-added reseller and solutions provider, in addition to the supply of computer hardware, software and networking products, they also offer additional services such as networking design and implementation, advanced storage solutions and technical services. They are now looking to recruit an IT New Business Development Executive / Sales Account Manager to join their Peterborough office.

As an IT New Business Development Executive / Sales Account Manager your role will be to create business development opportunities and manage the subsequent accounts.

To succeed as the IT New Business Development Executive / Sales Account Manager you must have reseller sales experience gained from selling IT hardware, software or services to the corporate or SME market. You must also have the following:

- knowledge of server technologies, networking, storage and general IT solution provision
- knowledge of at least 3 of the following manufacturers: Hewlett Packard, Cisco, Microsoft, Symantec, Sun Microsystems, VMware, NetApp, Avaya, IBM

Additionally, you should be educated to A level standard (or equivalent) and you will need the charisma, determination and tenacity to generate new opportunities

The successful applicant will be rewarded with a generous basic salary plus commission and an opportunity to develop with in the company.

The OTE figure will be dependent on your experience. In both cases it is uncapped and junior candidates can expect to earn £24,000 - £36,000. Senior candidates can expect to earn £50,000 - £70,000.
