Job description:
Hotel Assistant Food and Beverage Manager required for an award winning , flagship , 3 star Hotel in Essex / Cambridgeshire .
The Assistant Food and Beverage manager is a position in the Hotel management structure and your key role will be to ensure the smooth running of the Hotel operation in all Food and Beverage related issues in conjunction with F & B Manager.
Key Job Responsibilities ;
To assist in managing the day to day operation of the Food and Beverage sections of the Hotel and assume the responsibilities and duties of F & B Manager in his/her absence. This will include control and analysis on an on-going basis of ;
-Sales and Costs
-Quality and presentation of F & B products.
-Service standard
-Condition and cleanliness of equipment.
- Quality of entertainment
-Guest Satisfaction .
-Marketing.
Other responsibilities will include such activities as Menu and drinks development , Health and Safety, People Management ( recruitment , induction , training , coaching , discipline etc) , Financial Management and Risk management.
SKILLS REQUIRED;
*You will need previous Hotel experience in a Food and Beverage related role , preferably in F & B Management or a supervisory role .
*Guest Services Manager experience would be useful.
*You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a Customer focused attitude.
*People management skills
*Basic numeracy and literacy skills
*Valid work permit if applicable.
The company offers a salary of £14k TO £16K dependent on experience.
