Using your strong understanding of the capital goods sector and operating within Key Accounts, you will form an essential link in the sales process. You will be a quota-bearing territory salesperson selling to existing customers, however the most reward will come from focusing on new business generation. With a well established support structure and focus on career development, Salespeople will attend weekly one-to-one prospect and activity reviews with their sales manager.
With a good knowledge of the IT environment, you will be able to sell complex solutions to Key Customers. Salespeople should have a broad grasp of the application of IT in business and the benefits of it's usage. Sales people will need to be able to proficiently use email, an electronic database and electronic proposal tool as an essential part of performing their role.
You will receive thorough sales and product and training. This is residential (in Surrey) and consists of approximately 4 weeks formal training (broken into a number of modules) as well as more informal induction and learning tasks back in your team over their first 2-3 months.
If you have a strong work ethic, and are highly self-motivated, you will thrive in this position - reaping the resultant reward, and uncapped earning potential. Realistic earnings in the first year £50 - £60K OTE, rising to £70-80K in the second year. Proven track record of success essential and evidence of earnings will be requested.
