International market leader in the manufacturing & distribution of electronics for weighing industry needs driven & strategic sales professional. Growth opportunities! Circa £50,000 OTE, uncapped!

 

Our client is an international market leader in the manufacturing and distribution of electronics for the weighing industry and already have demonstrated considerable success within the UK market. They are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to develop new business opportunities throughout the UK and capitalise on the opportunities that they have identified within the UK market. 

Reporting to the General Manager of the European Office in Germany, you will assist in managing the growth of the company’s customer base across the UK and work autonomously to achieve challenging sales targets.. You will be out in the field pursuing new business and visiting existing clients so travel throughout the UK will be a necessary part of the role.

 

Whilst there are strong growth opportunities, there is strong competition.  Market leadership is maintained through continuous innovation and research and development, but more and more, how you manage your customers and opportunities will define future growth. You will be working with large and small customers to bring in new business and then nurturing those accounts to further growth.  You will be a decisive negotiator with refined sales disciplines and strong business acumen. You will be confident in cold calling, writing proposals, providing executive presentations and following sales through to closure as well as managing existing and ongoing accounts

 

Your key focus will be new business. This will include identifying your best prospects, building a pipeline and managing that pipeline to fruition. The role demands discipline and accountability and your sales reporting and forecasting needs to be of the highest order. Your strong sales disciplines and CRM database management will only suit a highly organised, focused and persuasive professional who really walks the talk.

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring a track record of success, proven experience in field sales in a wholesale environment and outstanding relationship building and account management skills. Experience within an engineering environment would be advantageous, especially within the weighing industry.
