This is an opportunity to join a quality supplier to the industrial, manufacturing, process and contracting sectors.
Your role will involve the sales of quality capital equipment to these sectors and also service, hire and turnkey installations where appropriate. This position will cover throughout the South and South West of England and will focus on new business development as well managing existing clients. There will be full technical training before introduction to the region and your customers.
To apply you will require the following:
- A strong technical grounding - a mechanical engineering, HVAC or refrigeration qualification, or experience gained in your sales career.
- A South/South West location – best postcodes will be SN, OX, RG or SP postcodes.
- A track record in technical sales into either the industrial sectors (process or manufacturing) or to HVAC / M + E Contractors, Consultants or Facility Management groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good business relationships and close sales
- An ability to present from the shop floor to the board room both in small business’s and multinational customers
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- An ability to source, win and secure new business
- Whilst a track record in technical field sales is preferred, our client will be happy to recruit and train internal sales people hungry and capable of stepping up into a field sales role
