As one of the UK’s leading providers of IT solutions and services, our client provides the very latest hardware, software and support services to over 400 midmarket and 100 corporate businesses across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a high calibre and talented Field Sales Consultant / IT Sales Executive to join their team.
Joining a team of 6, as a Field Sales Consultant / IT Sales Executive you will be responsible for visiting clients in the manufacturing, distribution, leisure and retails sectors nationwide to consultatively discuss their business processes. You will then identify their requirements and sell the company’s IT solutions – focusing on CRM, business intelligence and Enterprise Resource Planning.
You will be provided with leads, but also expected to build your own networks and create leads of your own. This role is equally split between the field and office, with the majority of your travel typically in the South of England.
To succeed as the Field Sales Consultant / IT Sales Executive you must have a demonstrable sales track record and the proven ability to meet your targets. Experience in field sales or software sales would be highly desirable, as would knowledge of CRM, business intelligence and ERP software – but these aren’t essential as training will be provided for the right person.
