Operating at the forefront of printing technology, our client has over 40 years of experience as a leading commercial print company. Offering everything from digital printing to a range of multi-colour print services – their impressive client portfolio includes household names including the BBC, Weightwatchers and the British Heart Foundation. An opportunity has now arisen for a talented Field Sales Account Manager / New Business Development Executive to join their team and develop a key area.

As a Field Sales Account Manager / New Business Development Executive you will be responsible for generating and closing new business by selling the company’s market leading printing solutions to an existing account base in the south East. It is therefore essential that you have previous B2B sales experience.
In this field based position, you will play an integral part within the company by developing a key sales area. Applying your proven experience, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and maximising their retention, visiting client sites, carrying out presentations and developing strong relationships with the principle decision maker.
You will also be responsible for:
- prospecting for new opportunities, as directed
- ensuring all existing clients are visited frequently
- ensuring each client has an agreed Account Plan, and making sure this plan is co-ordinated and executed
- representing the company with the highest standards of performance, conduct and professionalism
To succeed as the Field Sales Account Manager / New Business Development Executive you must have a proven B2B sales record and some B2B field sales experience. We are looking for candidates with experience from within the print industry or associated industries. With your successful track record in finding new business prospects, you will also need the proven ability to persuade and influence at senior management level.
Commercially astute and with strong business acumen, you will also need strong negotiation skills, a clear understanding of account management, and a good level of PC literacy. This role will also require your strong command of English, your first class communication skills, and your well presented appearance.
