Our client has the broadest diabetes product portfolio in the industry. They also have a leading position in areas such as haemostasis management, growth hormone therapy and hormone replacement therapy. Their aspiration is to defeat diabetes by finding better methods of diabetes prevention, detection and treatment.
A challenging and exciting vacancy has arisen within their diabetes team for a representative to cover the Cheshire area.
The purpose of the role is to generate product revenue and market share through the delivery of brand values in primary care. You will be expected to establish the company as market leaders and preferred NHS partners throughout your territory. The territory includes Cheshire west, Halton and St. Helen’s, Warrington and Wirral PCTs.
The post holder will be responsible for key accounts, territory planning and budget management for your area. You will be expected to contact potential customers and key accounts to provide them with details of product and brand information whilst taking measures to negotiate and sell their products and services. You will be expected to develop networks and productive business relationships with prescribing and non-prescribing product influencers whilst monitoring and contributing to a customer database in order to maximise revenue.
The ideal candidate should be educated to graduate level or equivalent and must have passed the ABPI exam. You must be able to demonstrate proven sales success within the pharmaceutical industry and ideally have worked in primary care. Also this post may be suitable for a trainee with the right background, experience and attitude. You must have a valid driving licence and be fluent in English. |
