Salary: £45000 OTE: £45000.00

My leading corporate client based in the Solihull area is currently looking to recruit an experienced Microsoft Development Manager on a permanent basis. This innovative client is a global market leader in their field, and has an impressive portfolio of clients to service.
A development technical lead is required to manage the day to day planning and delivery of products. You will be required to ensure appropriate development processes and procedures are introduced and adhered to , and to ensure that the business strategy is translated into commercially viable products.
You will provide technical leadership and direction on software product development, designing and building the best possible solutions to meet the business needs .You will initially lead a team of 4.
Objectives:
1. Deliver product enhancements to existing suites to drive additional revenue within the regions.
2. Introduce ADD development processes and procedures to the team
3. Deliver ad-hoc regional product enhancement requests as necessary
4. Deliver new products based upon strategic plan of the business

Experience and Skills required:
Excellent technical and commercial knowledge of software applications
Software development technical expertise - in depth knowledge of development technologies, software languages, system design, system architecture, software methodologies, understand new and emerging technologies particularly on the internet
Strong background in Microsoft development technologies
Significant experience of developing C#/VB.Net products
SQL and ideally Oracle knowledge
Flexible approach to software development
In depth knowledge of ADD standards and process's and adherence to those process's
Excellent planning and management of software development tasks within a project
Excellent communication skills - both to a technical and non-technical audience
Dynamic and positive approach
Effective time management, organisation and planning skills
Leadership and motivation of software developers - direct reports and project reports
Experience of being technical lead on complex development projects including problem solving, task breakdown, estimation, analysis and design, project monitoring, mitigation of risks and issues to ensure the solutions meet business requirements
Recent commercial experience of working within a software house environment
This is an ideal opportunity for a experienced Senior Analyst Programmer/Team leader to move into a progressive client who are currently engaging in a transformation of all core technologies. This role would also be suitable for a current manager of a small development team, who is seeking to move into a more challenging environment.
