Our client is an innovative business development consultancy, initiating programmes to link companies with potential customers, investors and joint venture partners.
As part of the Group’s core activities, their Strategy Meeting Division runs a series of Director Level Business Development Meetings for major organisations (Corporate and Government) in the UK and Europe. These serve to create effective sales and business development opportunities for suppliers and buyers, within a senior-level networking environment.
Superb opportunities have now arisen for experienced telesales people to join them as Delegate Sales Executives to work out of their Milton Keynes offices
You will be responsible for contacting senior clients by phone from an existing database of blue chip companies, inviting them to an evening dinner and a days high level networking event. The delegates do not pay to attend since the meeting is sponsored by the suppliers.
This is a consultative sales role dealing at a senior level and requires individuals with the following experience:-
• Ideally a minimum of 18 months business to business telesales experience where you will have been dealing at Director level
• Proven ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and face to face (since you will be attending the events to network with your clients)
• Outgoing, confident and positive and used to influencing decision makers
• Motivated by success and achievement
• Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
• Superb time management/organisational skills
• PC literate (previous experience of using ACT Contact Management System would be useful although not essential)
• Well educated (ideally including Maths and English)
The rewards are superb and include:-
• A generous negotiable basic salary starting at £17K (depending upon experience)
• A realistic OTE of £35K (Uncapped)
• Promotion and development opportunities (the company plans to scale up their US operation so there will be the potential to travel)
