YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
- Senior business development experience
- Complex high value contract, bidding and tendering experience.
- Degree in engineering
IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING
- Aerospace engineering Degree
- Experience selling into defence, aerospace and civil aviation markets
ROLE INFORMATION
- You will be the commercial Manager of a large multinational Fortune 500 company, working within a team of 6 your primary function will be to maintain and develop large contracts within the aerospace, civil aviation and defence industry
- The successful candidate will negotiate contracts worth between 1 million dollars and 600 million dollars, these contracts can have a roll out lasting up to 25 years and you will be responsible for all negotiations, bidding and tendering
- The company you will represent if successful are involved in selling interior systems, actuation, landing systems, electronic systems and fuel technologies and have a huge reputation for the quality and innovation of their operations
- You will need to be prepared for the long haul as these type of contracts can take up to 3 years to finalise due to the sensitive nature of the market you will deal with, however drawing back on your experience within a similar role this will not come as a shock to you
