THE ROLE
Whilst training will be given, your role will prove key in areas such as communicating with suppliers, negotiating terms with suppliers, researching new potential suppliers and markets, liasing with sales regarding customer requirements, meeting with suppliers, contributing to business management ideas and co-ordinating pricing changes as part of this very varied and interesting role. Cheadle based role.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
You are likely to be coming from a sales environment and looking to transfer some of the skills you have gained into dealing with suppliers. Overall, the keys to this role will be some experience or knowledge of a business/commercial environment, a genuine comfort in communicating positively and professionally by phone (most suppliers will not be locally based), an enthusiastic driving style, a keenness for attention to detail, the ability to build very good rapport and someone happy to take responsibility and ownership of tasks.
SALARY PACKAGE
Basic salary between £18-£25,000pa plus bonus dependent upon experience plus 25 days hol plus private health plus flexible benefits package
