Channel Account Manager - Telecoms

 
Salary: Upto £35000 OTE: £55000

Our client is an internationally renowned Telecommunications manufacturer of advanced telecommunications products and solutions including PBX's, DECT products, Voice Mail, Call Centre Management software. The Business Telephone Systems Division now seeks a Dealer Account Manager to support it's Reseller business customers. Ideal living location is London, South East, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire. The ideal background is a candidate who has worked for a telecoms manufacturer(e.g Mitel, Aastra,Avaya,Samsung or similar) as a Channel Manager of resellers. However candidates who work for resellers in telecoms with a proven record of Account Management of end users will also be considered. Benefits: Basic circa 35K + 15/ 18K OTE + Car + benefits package (negotiable depending on experience).

PBX Telephony Accounts Manager

Reporting directly to the National Dealer Sales Manager, this is a field based Account Management position to increase sales of the clients IP Telephony Portfolio. It is estimated that the successful candidate will spend 80% of their time working with resellers to promote IP Telephony and Software Application Solutions .The other 20% will be spent undertaking account management tasks, reporting and administration duties.

"Must have a good understanding and knowledge of the SME sector and UK telephony Market place. System knowledge of PBX's, Telephony, IP Telephony essential.
"Proven success and track record at managing accounts either in a dealer or direct environment
"Proven success and track record at developing client relationships for the benefit of both parties
"Confident and excellent presentation skills. Must be comfortable presenting at board level
"Must have a good understanding of basic IT networks and related software
"At least 3 years working in a Communications/PBX solutions environment, ideally IP Telephony.
"Must have an understanding of Communications Solutions.
"At least 3 years experience working with re-sellers.
"Must be self motivated and able to demonstrate achievement of sales targets, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
"Strong negotiation skills
"Full driving licence with no more than three points and prepared to undertake extensive travel across the UK.

Area of coverage:

"Sales Area will be the London and the South East. Attending monthly meetings at Head Office where you will be required to attend Monthly Sales Meeting, Training and other Department related meetings.
"Some accounts will have offices that extend beyond this geography therefore it will be expected that you will cover these areas.
"The account coverage will evolve from time to time; therefore, your objective target accounts will vary.

Preferred:

"Self starter and self motivated. Able to translate technical information into common language
"A solid understanding of sales & marketing processes and workflow
"Ability to manage multiple tasks, to work under pressure, and to maintain a balance of priorities
"Strong Planning and organisational skills
"Process Oriented
