Business Development Manager / Field Sales Executive
UK Wide, Home or Office based Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Circa £30,000 to £40,000 (Flexible for the right candidate) plus benefits including company car
Our client is an international Group focused on two major activities - packaging and office products.
The site in Chesterfield is well established and employs approximately 200 people with an annual turnover of £30million. The site manufactures high quality corrugated packaging for a varied customer base, which includes blue chip, industrial, food and beverage, produce and light engineering companies.
They currently have an exciting opening for a proactive New Business Development Manager to work alongside the External Sales Team.
This is a challenging role and the post holder will be responsible for generating profitable new sales opportunities through researching, identifying and targeting new products, market sectors and customers in line with agreed business strategy and plans. In order to succeed, you will need to acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of the relevant market sectors, identify and approach potential new customers, co-ordinate competitive tenders and manage the introduction of new customers into the business.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a customer facing sales role with excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. You must be confident and able to effectively influence others using strong presentation skills. Knowledge of the Packaging Industry would be an advantage although this is not essential.
It is important that you are a self-starter, possessing the passion and desire to succeed in a demanding environment. Our client is keen to find someone with the potential to develop further that will view the role as an imperative to our company’s growth.
This role will cover the whole of the UK and can be either home or office based. |
