£30,000 Basic (negotiable upwards), £50,000 OTE (to be agreed) + Car and benefits package. UK wide role that is home based and reporting into the Hertfordshire HQ

This global niche manufacturer of CRM and Management Reporting software specifically for the public sector is a division of a major software provider to the international banking sector. Due to an internal transfer to Australasia they seek a self managing and professional business developer to take change of their UK sales growth. 
Having won a handful of major public sector projects the company have received significant investment from their parent group to further develop their UK business and to create a dedicated sales team for this product. This role is a combination of strategic business development and senior account management that based upon your success will grow into Sales Management within 12-18 months. 
The sales process is typically protracted and involves multiple level sign off and as all solutions are bespoke to the end user the role has a high technical element. Each project is worth in excess of £70K p.a. and the role is closing qualified leads through lengthy and involved bids and tender processes. 
Therefore to succeed you will be a consummate corporate level business developer, with an eye for detail and significant relationship building skills. You will have a proven track record in selling complex solutions into the public sector and have contacts/and or solid understanding of the route required to win public sector accounts. In addition, you will have strong organisation and planning skills and be an excellent corporate presenter. 
You will be of graduate calibre, personable, credible and possess strong negotiation skills. You will be used to winning complex proposal led business and be an ambitious team player that is highly success oriented and self motivated.

The role has high levels of self management and autonomy and it is the intention that based upon your success you will grow a UK based sales team, perhaps taking the product into the commercial sector.
