Ideally you will have a sales and technical background in the catalyst or precious metal recovery based industries. The role involves Business development and market expansion activities with a global remit, and you would deal with Blue Chip key Accounts. T o have this experience it is likely that you will have built on your science or engineering type qualifications and exposure to now concentrate more on client facing activities.
This business development role involves taking technical and commercial responsibility to develop potential business for the companies’ products into industries involved with process catalysts, precious metal recovery, refining, metal scavenging, and product purification. Specific experience in sectors such as these will enable you to interact with clients at a high technical and business level to promote the companies innovative product based advances in nano and immobilisation technologies.
What is required is a balanced techno commercial Business Developer who can build effective relationships with existing and potential global customers and participate actively in the development of markets for these and other products being developed and patented. A key skill will be the ability to appreciate the technology behind the products as well their possible application and utilisation by your clients so that process, yield and cost improvements can be effected.
