Hays Candidate Attraction Solutions (CAS) are looking for a strong Business Development Manager who will report directly into the Head of Sales of Hays CAS. The purpose of the Business Development Manager is to work across the various brands of Hays – predominantly developing your own client leads and contacts as well as combined sales opportunities within the Hays brands. You will account manage business won in your region by overseeing delivery.
You will be part of a 12 strong sales team selling recruitment advertising and marketing solutions to key clients. Working in partnership with all the Hays Brands, the Candidate Attraction Solutions (CAS) team provides a range of marketing solutions that enable clients to target their recruitment campaign at the most appropriate audience. Each month, the CAS sales team assist in the generation of approximately 40 campaign/micro site sales and 180 web advertisements, resulting in an annual turnover of over £8 million.
The Job:
- Identify relevant multimedia/web-based solutions that can make a real difference to your clients' recruitment processes.
- Lead business development through client presentations and events, structuring proposals and contracts, and targeted sales canvassing of prospects.
- Train and develop Hays' recruitment consultants to further educate the marketplace about the benefits of online solutions, expanding our market penetration.
- Help define, implement and work to an agreed regional sales strategy to ensure the achievement of the targeted business growth. This will include establishing rational and achievable sales forecasts to deliver the projected sales targets.
- Deliver agreed sales targets within the framework of Company objectives.
- Define, organise and implement a CAS product training where required for all brands within your region.
The Person:
- You will have a background in recruitment and/or advertising or job board sales or strong business to business sales.
- To excel in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a track record of success in new business development.
- Relationship management and the creation of innovative, bespoke solutions.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in recruiting, training and supporting the personal development of a multi-faceted brands and individuals within those brands.
- Evidence of developing and implementing a sales strategy resulting in the growth of the business.
- Experience of managing and developing a combined product and services portfolio.
- Ability to work at both a strategic and tactical level and effect business changes.
- Evidence of selling high value propositions and developing profitable new opportunities. · Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability of engaging and influencing at Board level. · Ability to utilise personal judgement in decision making and deal with ambiguity. ·
