Sales Executive  / Field Sales Executive  / Business Development Executive required  for a company who are a leading UK   stainless steel specialist , from pipes , tubes and fittings to bar , sheet and plate.

 Salary  negotiable , £ 25k to £35k basic , dependent on experience + profit share ( could be substantial )  + car + pension + other benefits.

 

Job Title:   Sales Executive  / Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive

 

Package:      Basic salary  £25000 to £ 35000 , + profit share + car + benefits . Thus potential to earn salary of £45000 - £50000

 

Area / location:  National and International with trips to Europe and Far east . Ideal location would be West Midlands , East Midlands ,North West / M4 Corridor. However any location within the UK would be suitable for this role .

Brief Job Description;

Sales Executive / New Business Development Manager    required for a company who are a leading supplier of stainless steel .  This company now require an energetic , entrepreneurial New Business Development sales person , who will be given a platform of opportunity  to spearhead the companies sales efforts within new areas of activity , primarily steel finished components. You will be selling into a wide range of industry sectors such as  , Refrigeration companies , Car / Automotive  manufacturers , Heating and Boiler companies and any other industries who manufacture a finished product and need Steel finished components to build these.

This role will involve primarily new business development ,with a growing element of account management  selling to blue chip companies and therefore you must  have the ability and confidence to operate within this market place and to negotiate at all levels.

The role will involve National and International travel and customer coverage and sometimes this will involve short notice trips abroad to meet a particular client need or to progress a new sales avenue / opportunity.

Due to the nature of the role , our clients would also consider discussing the opportunity with Experienced , successful , entrepreneurs or self employed business managers , who have an idea / product within the Stainless Steel sector and would now like to move into an employed role from where they can develop the product further.

Could be seen as a Dragons Den opportunity.

 

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED;

 

- You must have previous Sales experience in a structured Sales role and structured sales environment and be able to demonstrate this experience and also be able to quantify your previous sales results.

-Successful B2B track record in Field Sales , preferably in  steel  ,   engineering , metals , manufacturing ( from a different sector ) or you may have been running your own business and now would like to utilise your experience and general commercial skills in a different field..

- Technical Field Sales / Engineering skills.

-Ability to handle pressure.

-Presence and gravitas .

-Strong Questioning and closing skills.

-Confident

-Good relationship builder

-First class communication skills.

-Organised , disciplined and self motivated.

-Commercially aware.

-IT literate

-Energetic

-Creative and opportunistic , with an outgoing entrepreneurial spirit and skill set.

Rewards;

A basic salary negotiable of between £25k and £35k , dependent on experience plus profit share  + car + benefits.
